FAQ

What is the Tiny Holiday Market?
A festive community market where kids create and sell their own handmade items. It’s a fun way for them to learn creativity, confidence and beginner business skills

Where will the market be held?

space - just on the other side of Tennyson Street

3810 Pierce Street, Wheat Ridge 80033

Who can participate?
Kids ages 5–12. Every young maker must have a supervising adult at their booth throughout the event.

Do kids keep their earnings?
Yes! Kids keep 100% of what they sell. This is their big moment.

What kinds of items can kids sell?
Anything kid-made, safe, and family-friendly. Popular ideas include: art prints, bracelets, ornaments, bookmarks, keychains, slime, small crafts, mini paintings, sensory jars, etc. Items should not involve open flames, perishables that require refrigeration, or anything sharp or breakable for young shoppers.

How should we price items?
We recommend simple price points that are easy to count. Most items fall between $1–$10. Parents may help kids decide pricing ahead of time.

How many items should my child bring?
Totally up to them, though we suggest 10–40 items so they have enough inventory without getting overwhelmed by production. We will communicate number of ticket sales as we get closer to the event, but we anticipate to have walk-ins as well.

Will there be money handling support?
We recommend using a QR code with parents venmo for payment, easy peasy. If you need assistance creating a QR code or digital payment set up, please reach out.

How do booths work?
Space provides a small table and signage. Kids can decorate their booth to show off their brand and creativity, we will provide 'business name' signs for each booth. Please keep displays simple and manageable for little hands.

Are snacks or drinks allowed for sale?
No food or drinks sold by vendors. space may offer concessions separately.

What time is setup?
Setup begins at 4:15pm. All booths must be ready by 5pm when the market opens.

Do families need to stay the whole time?
Yes, booths should remain open from 5–7pm to give shoppers a full experience.

How many vendor spots are available?
We have limited spaces to ensure a comfortable and joyful event. Not all submissions may be accepted, but we will try our best to include a variety of makers!

What if my child changes their product idea after registering?
Just send us a quick update. We love flexibility and evolving creativity.

Is this a ticketed event?

space is putting a small price on admission tickets to ensure attendance. 100% of ticket proceeds that space makes will be donated to a local food bank.
