Clay & Gather:
Create a handmade ceramic serving platter
With Leah Rushing
Wednesday, February 18th
5:30-7:30
For adults
Join Leah from Late Waning Pottery in space to make a custom and special charcuterie serving platter from durable stoneware ceramic!
Charcuterie is a versatile way to serve fruit, cheese, meats and even dipping sauces. Using a slab technique along with shaping and hand building you will create your own unique and versatile version of a serving board.
Any experience level welcome, there will be ample support and instruction throughout the entire process. This is a two part workshop, one evening to build and then another to glaze. The glazing portion of this workshop will also be guided and date will be decided collectively as a group on the 18th.
There will be many colors to choose from and lots of room to experiment!
