PARTY HOST
Accepting resumes through Sunday, July 12.
Pay: $18/hr to start
Schedule: ~3.5 hours per party, primarily Saturdays and Sundays, with occasional Friday evenings
Location: space, Wheat Ridge, CO
space is a community space in Wheat Ridge built around connection and creativity. We host paint parties, workshops and events that bring people together through connective experiences experiences. We are looking for a Party Host to help run our paint parties and make sure every guest has a great time.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Set the overall vibe for each celebration, keeping the energy warm, fun, and on brand for space

Set up the space and make sure paint supplies are stocked and ready before guests arrive

Welcome the party host and help them get set up

Welcome guests as they arrive and help them feel comfortable

Announce painting guidelines to guests before the party begins

Make sure all guests have waivers filled out before painting starts

Keep the party moving, following the activities planned by the party host and space

Make sure the party host takes their belongings and all trash is thrown away at the end

Put paint and supplies away after the party wraps

Proactive and comfortable jumping in to help without being aske

Excellent communicator, comfortable speaking to a group and staying in communication with space owners

Responsible and punctual, someone we can count on for every shift they agree to

Available on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays required, occasional Friday evenings)

Comfortable on your feet and helping with light setup and cleanup
You will be part of a small, close knit team building something meaningful in the Wheat Ridge community. Every party is a little different, and you will get to help create moments that matter for the people who walk through our doors.

ART CLUB INSTRUCTOR

Schedule: Weekly, 4:00pm to 5:30pm (day of week subject to change, may expand to multiple days per week)

Ages served: 5-12
Art Club is a weekly after school drop off designed to help kids slow down, create, and reset after the school day. Each session blends open ended art projects with gentle mindfulness woven naturally into the experience. There is no pressure to perform or produce. Kids are invited to explore materials, follow curiosity, and take space in a way that feels right to them. Families count on Art Club as part of their weekly rhythm, and kids can join at any point and still feel grounded, included, and supported.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

Hold space for the first 30 minutes (4:00 to 4:30) as an open, low pressure hang and creating time where kids can settle in

Develop and lead a more structured, project based creating session from 4:30 to 5:30

Plan and prep open ended art projects that give kids room to explore rather than follow a strict template

Weave in gentle mindfulness moments naturally throughout the session

Set up and organize all art materials before kids arrive

Welcome kids and help them settle in, especially those joining mid session
-
Manage the room and group dynamics with warmth, patience, and consistency
-
Clean up and reset the space after each session

Communicate with parents as needed on pickup, projects, or any concerns

Comfortable holding a calm, low pressure environment rather than a highly structured one
-
Experience or eagerness working with kids ages 5 to 12, in a classroom, camp, art studio, or similar setting

Creative and resourceful when it comes to planning open ended art projects

Patient, warm, and attentive to kids who need extra support settling in
-
Reliable and available for the weekly session (day may shift or expand to multiple days)

Comfortable managing a full room independently
