PAINT + PAUSE:
DROP IN PAINT ON THE WALLS
Paint + Pause is our drop-in experience where kids are free to paint on the walls and create without limits. We offer three sessions every month, each designed specifically for different age groups:
Children (and adults!) are encouraged to paint directly on our painting walls, allowing for boundless creativity, expression and underlying mindfulness teachings like introducing the concept of impermanence (paint is washed away after every session or event), awareness (creating mindfully in a space with other masterpieces), and boundaries (it’s okay to paint on the walls at space but not on the walls at home). space uses use non-toxic, water-based, washable paint.
Little Creators (Ages 2-4) Paint on the Walls + Story Time
A playful space for the littlest artists to explore, create, and express freely. Designed with toddlers and young children in mind, Paint + Pause: Little Creators offers a gentle, welcoming environment where kids can paint directly on the walls while parents relax nearby.
Less about staying inside the lines, and more about exploring color, movement, and creative confidence. The act of painting and then washing it away introduces little ones to the beauty of impermanence and the joy of starting fresh.At the top of the second hour, we’ll gather for a short story time providing space to pause listen, and connect before returning to creative-open play.

Young Makers (Ages 5-11)
Paint on the Walls + Breathing
Paint + Pause: Young Makers invites kids ages 5–11 to express themselves freely on our walls. With a focus on exploration over perfection, this session supports emotional expression, creative confidence, and imaginative play. Whether they are layering brushstrokes, painting stories, or just letting it all out on the wall, this is a space where kids are encouraged to be bold and true to themselves.
At the top of the second hour, we’ll pause for a short Breath Break, offering a mindful moment to reset, connect with the body, and return to creativity with fresh energy.

Open Studio (Ages 12+)
Paint on the Walls + Hang
A space to hang, paint, and just be. Paint + Pause: Open Studio is designed for tweens and teens who crave freedom, creativity, and a break from structure.
With full access to our floor-to-ceiling paintable walls, this is a low-pressure environment where self-expression is encouraged and expectations are left at the door. Whether they’re painting solo, chatting with friends, or simply decompressing, Paint + Pause: Open Studio invites kids to use art as a tool for reflection, release, and fun.
