Paws + Pause: Coping Skills for Big Feelings
With Mary Ramatici, LCSW + Lindsay Orleans, LCSW
April 26th
3:30-5:30
For kids ages 7-12
This engaging, hands-on workshop helps kids understand anxiety and build practical coping skills in a supportive, fun environment alongside Nalu, a therapy dog.
Through icebreakers, interactive activities, and movement-based play, kids learn a variety of tools to calm their bodies, stay present, understand their emotions, reframe thoughts, and connect with others.
The workshop ends with a creative activity and each child receives a resource packet with take-home strategies and parent guidance to support continued growth beyond the session.
