Supporting Our Kids in Uncertain Times:
A Caregiver Workshop on Conversation, Fear + Empowerment

With Dr. Steph Bono, PsyD and Mary Ramatici

Tuesday, March 24th

6:30pm-8:00pm

A grounded, supportive workshop to help caregivers talk with kids about fear, uncertainty, and current events in age-appropriate ways.

Presented by Dr. Steph Bono, Psyd (licensed psychologist) and Mary Ramatici (LCSW), this 1.5-hour workshop offers caregivers practical, developmentally informed tools to support children (ages 7–12) who are navigating stress related to current events, including sociopolitical concerns and anxieties about U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Together, we will explore how to open meaningful conversations, respond to fear in steady and age-appropriate ways, navigate differing worldviews within families and communities, and identify small but powerful ways to come together in support of impacted neighbors.

Participants will leave with psychologically grounded strategies to help children feel informed, supported and empowered, without overwhelming them.

We would like this to be accessible to all, please reach out if finances prohibit you from attending and we will be happy to accommodate.
